Epic Games Store has confirmed its next weekly freebie: Sorry We're Closed will be free to keep from 29 October until 5 November 2026 (the offer ends at 4 p.m. CET / 3 p.m. UK time, 8 a.m. PT).
What is it?
Sorry We're Closed is a survival horror game from UK studio à la mode games. It mixes retro graphics with a camera that switches between views: fixed camera angles in third person, inspired by classic survival horror like the early Resident Evil games, and first person for the shooting sections. It launched in November 2024 and was well received, with a "Strong" OpenCritic rating (average 82 from 52 reviews, 86% recommend).
It normally costs $24.99. This is the second time Epic has given it away, but last time (December 2025) it was free for only 24 hours. This time you get a full week.
Don't miss the current freebies
- Sker Ritual and Home – A Unique Horror Adventure are still free until 29 October.
- GetHigh.EXE, a precision platformer, is free in a separate promotion until 2 November.
How to claim: sign in to the Epic Games Store (web or launcher), open the game page, click Get and place the order at $0. You don't need to install it straight away; it stays in your library.
