FURIA are the champions of PGL Masters Bucharest 2026. The Brazilian-international side beat tournament surprise Nemiga 3-2 in a five-map grand final on Saturday 31 October, ending one of the best underdog runs of the year.
Grand final: Nemiga 2-3 FURIA
- Ancient: 13-2 Nemiga
- Dust2: 5-13 FURIA
- Cache: 2-13 FURIA
- Mirage: 13-11 Nemiga
- Nuke: 6-13 FURIA
How the final played out
Nemiga started perfectly. A 10-2 T-side half on their own Ancient pick set up a 13-2 win, with KaiR0N- on fire. FURIA answered straight away on Dust2, opening duels went their way in 15 of the 18 rounds and YEKINDAR ran riot for a 13-5 win.
Then came Cache, the map that had beaten The MongolZ and Vitality earlier in the event. This time FURIA went 10-2 up on CT side and did not drop a round after the break: 13-2, with FalleN posting one of the best Cache games of his career.
Nemiga refused to fold. On Mirage they led 10-3, watched FURIA win seven in a row to level at 10-10, then held their nerve to take it 13-11 and force a decider. On Nuke, though, FURIA won five straight CT rounds after losing the pistol, went in 7-5 and closed it 13-6. molodoy, who had only two kills on Ancient, finished the decider with 19.
Series MVP: YEKINDAR
YEKINDAR was the best player on the server with 82 kills, 99.6 ADR and a 1.56 rating across the five maps, picking up a career-first MVP. Speaking after the match he joked that this was a "life tournament" and that fans should not expect it every event. FURIA won the opening duels 60 to 31 over the series.
This is back-to-back silverware for FURIA after their win at the Thunderpick World Championship 2026 in Malta a few weeks ago. For Nemiga, a run that included wins over FUT and Vitality is still a huge result.
